Data Overview

Data Overview

Urban Mapping holds expertise in all things ETL-related. This includes identification, sourcing, normalization and maintenance of high-value data. We bring together data from dozens of vendors and sources, providing valuable data on thousands of topics. An essential component of what we offer is curation: this means we’ve thought a great deal about potential uses of data so when developers begin work, all the heavy lifting (standardizing columns, creating useful metadata, ensuring data are up to date, providing simple licensing terms) is done, allowing you to focus on building rich geo-centric applications.

Mapfluence On-demand Catalog

Because 10,000+ indicators available to developers are resident in our hosted mapping platform, it’s as easy as identifying the specific variable you want and writing a query to produce a map or report. In sourcing data, we think about four groups. These aren’t mutually-exclusive, but it presents a framework for organization. Visit the On-demand Data Catalog to browse or search through available datasets.
